QC
Quality Control — Dedicated OEM Client
What you will do
- Prepare and maintain the Unit 3 quality plan aligned to the client's OEM-specific inspection and documentation requirements.
- Carry out inspection and testing (fit-up, material verification, weld inspection, dimensional, hydro/pneumatic) on the dedicated Unit 3 line as per the agreed QAP.
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of machined components — including covers and wear rings supplied for the client's decanter assemblies — verifying tolerances, surface finish and drawing conformance using standard machine-shop measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier/height gauges, bore gauges, surface plates, dial indicators).
- Read and interpret machining drawings (GD&T, fits and tolerances) in addition to fabrication/welding drawings, and coordinate with machining vendors/in-house machinists on non-conforming dimensions.
- Verify use of customer-supplied products and approved materials only, per the client's specifications; maintain related traceability records.
- Support and directly participate in the client's supplier quality audits (SQA visits), ensuring documentation is always audit-ready.
- Raise and track NCRs specific to the Unit 3 line — both fabrication and machined-component related — and confirm closure of corrective actions before dispatch.
- Compile OEM-format quality dossiers and test certificates (covering both fabricated and machined items) for each Unit 3 order and coordinate final release/dispatch sign-off with the Production Head — Unit 3.
- Coordinate with QC Head for calibration, NDT agency scheduling, and any crossline quality matters.
