This page explains what Alok Equipments Pvt Ltd does with the information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
The short version
We collect information only when you fill in one of our two forms. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not sell it, share it with anyone outside the company, or use it for advertising. This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies of any kind.
What we collect, and when
Nothing at all is collected while you browse. Information reaches us only when you submit a form.
If you send an enquiry, we receive your name, phone number, and — if you fill them in — your email address, company name, the type of equipment you are asking about, and the details of your requirement.
If you apply for a job, we receive the information the application form asks for: your name, date of birth, contact details, the city you are in, your education and employment history, your answers to the questions asked for that role, and your CV if you attach one.
With either form we also record the internet (IP) address the submission came from and the browser you used. This is a by-product of receiving the form and we use it only to block abuse of the form itself.
Why we hold it
- Enquiries — to understand what you need, quote for it, and keep a record of our dealings with you.
- Applications — to assess you for the role you applied for, and to contact you about it.
Both are things you asked us to do by sending the form. We do not use either for marketing you did not ask for.
Who sees it
Only people inside Alok Equipments Pvt Ltd who need it for the purpose above — our engineering and sales team for enquiries, and the people involved in hiring for applications. We do not pass your details to recruiters, agencies, data brokers or advertisers.
The only outside service this website loads is Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface. Loading it tells Google your IP address and browser, as any web request does. It receives nothing you type into a form.
How it is stored
Submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. They are then encrypted again on the web server, where they can be locked but not opened, and are collected into our own internal system. The website itself holds no readable copy and has no access to our business records.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — for as long as we are dealing with you, and afterwards in our business records.
- Applications — up to 12 months from the date you apply, so we can consider you for a role that opens later. Tell us and we will remove yours sooner.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information about you we hold;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
- withdraw your consent, which stops us using it further.
Write to info@alokequipments.com and say what you want done. We will not charge you for it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, write to info@alokequipments.com or call +91 95525 69396 and ask for the person responsible for data protection. If we cannot settle it between us, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
